Escondido Surf and Music Festival
From May 14th to 17th, 2009, Playa Zicatela in Puerto Escondido, known as the Mexican Pipeline, will host the closing of the National Surfing Circuit with a surf and music festival, with over 150 thousand pesos in prizes.
The tournament categories will encompass freestyle short board (male), as well as sub-16, sub-18, childrens and womens shortboard; freestyle bodyboard, sub-18 and womens bodyboard; freestyle longboard and Seniors, Masters, Grand Masters, Kahuna and Grand Kahuna longboard categories.
Festivities will include the surf contest itself, live bands on the beach, beach fashion, DJs and ecological activities.
