All surfers, both Mexican and foreign, who wish to participate in the traditional November International “Zicatela PRO 2009″ Surf Festival tournament in November in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico.

PLACE AND DATE: November 6-8, 2009
PARTICIPANTS: All surfers who register prior to registration deadline on Tuesday 3, November, 2009.
CATEGORIES: Open Surf and Bodyboard
RULES: Those of the Mexican Federation of Surfing, A.C., backed by the ISA.
JUDGES: Judges certified by the Mexican Academy of Surf, A.C. and the IS
PRIZES: Prizes to be granted to the top 4 in each category with a purse of more than $100,000.00 pesos distributed evenly between the two categories, and the awarding of diplomas to the participants.
FACILITIES: The A.S.E.O., A.C. organizing Committee handles support and discounts for participants in hotels, motels and local restaurants.

5 pm – 7 pm: Paddleboard half marathon from Port Captain”’’s to the main Surf tournament installations.
7:30 pm – 8:30 pm: Surf video projection. Location: Esplanade in front of Rokaway
Saturday 7 November
7:00 am – 2 pm: Surfing championship semi-finals and finals for Open surfboard and Open bodyboard. Location, Playa Zicatela, Central Lifeguard Tower

5 pm – 7 pm: Longboard marathon leaving from Port Captain”’’s to to tournament installations on Playa Zicatela. Location: Playa Zicatela in front of the Hotel Olas Altas

Sunday 8 November
7 am – 11 am: Open surfboard and Open bodyboard finals; Women”’’s Expression session (2 categories)
11 am – 11:45 am: Bikini contest
11:45am – 12:45 pm: Awards and closing ceremony
