Barra de Navidad Surf Tourney 2010

The Torneo de Surf Relámpago 2010 (Lightning Surf Tournament) is coming up in Barra de Navidad, Jalisco.

The Municipality of Cihuatlan, in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism of the State of Jalisco, the Fideicomiso Costalegre, and private local sponsors, invite surfers of all ages and nationalities to participate in the Open Short Board and Open Body Board Categories of the first TORNEO DE SURF RELÁMPAGO BARRA DE NAVIDAD 2010, on February 13th y 14th,

Torneo Relampago, Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico

First prize for Short Board Category will be a purse of $7,000 pesos. Second, Third and Fourth place prizes yet to be announced.

First prize for Body Board Category will be a purse of $2,000 pesos. Second, Third and Fourth place prizes will be sponsor-donated products.

Cost of registration: $200 pesos for short board category, $100 pesos for body board category.

A certain number of participants in both categories will be allowed to participate free (chosen from those under 16 years of age)

The tourney will be held according to the rules and regulations of the Mexican Surfing Federation, endorsed by the ISA.
