There will be an IBA (International Bodyboarding Association) International World Tour qualifying event taking place at Playa Zicatela, also known as the Mexican Pipeline, Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico from July 27 through August 5, 2010: the IBA World Zicatela 2010.

The tournament will run in three categories: Open Pro, Women´s Pro and Dropknee Pro
The bodyboarding competition will run daily from 6 a.m. to 12 noon. In the afternoons there will be a variety of activities including Expo Extreme, with a showcase of skateboard, bodyboard, surfing and other extreme sports products and accessories on sale; skateboard demonstrations and skate park for public use, conferences, beach parties, live music and other beach events and activities.
