Guerrero State selection 2010
The Guerrero state eliminatories were held this past 7th through 9th of May in front of the Playa Hermosa Turtle sanctuary at Playa Bonfil in Acapulco, to determine the participants in the upcoming National Mexican Surfing Surf and Music Festival to be held on May 21st through 23rd in Mazatlan Sinaloa. That tournament, in turn, will determine the surfing who will form part of the Mexican National Selection that will participate in international surfing events during the rest of the year and into 2011 in various parts of the world.
The surfers who signed up for the Guerrero state eliminatories numbered more than 100 with ages that ranged from 10 years old to over 50, and they participated in a total of 14 different categories.
