Dylan Southworth, hailing from the state of Nayarit, took first place in the Open Surfing category, becoming the champion of the Mexican national team during the Surf & Music Festival 2010 in Mazatlan, Sinaloa last weekend. Runners-up in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place were Christian Corzo of Oaxaca, Heriberto Ramirez of Oaxaca and Diego Cadena of Nayarit.
