Reports from the first day of Zicatela Pro 2010, taking place now in Puerta Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico, show that there were good surfing conditions with both waves and wind cooperating during the course of most of the day””s tournament activities.
Outstanding performances during the heats for the Women””s Open category were given in particular by former world champion Claudia Ferrari and Brazilian Maira Viana.
Some good barrel action was seen by David Velazquez (Venezuela) in the Dropknee category.
