Banner advertising

Purchase a STATIC BANNER or TEXT BLOCK ad appearing on any static (non-directory) page OTHER than the home page.

Specifications and placement details:

A Text block ad may be provided of up to 500 characters including spaces, linking on 1 URL only (with up to 3 different anchor texts) - $250 USD per year. Additional URLs: $50 USD per year per URL.
An image banner may be provided by you or we can provide you with a simple static banner at no extra charge. Size and format: 468 x 60 pixels, no more than 35k in size, .jpg or .gif format - $250 USD per year.
A Banner or Text block ad will also gain you a sponsored TEXT link in the general Mexico Guide AS WELL AS placement in the rotating banner system which delivers your banner throughout the whole site as visitors browse (banner changes with each page load or refresh).
Design of a custom banner is charged at $40 USD per static banner, $65 USD per animated banner. A banner also gains you Sponsored Link status in our general Mexico Guide.
Placement on website is at the discretion of the Webmaster. As a general rule, ads will be placed on a page whose content is most pertinent to the website being advertised.

RECIPROCAL LINK exchange - FREE

Reciprocal links may be submitted for free and are subject to approval at our sole discretion and must follow the guidelines above. A valid reciprocal link must be provided prior to submitting your link to the directory. Once the link is approved by the Webmaster, you will be notified.

Reciprocal links appear in only one category of the directory and placement is at the discretion of Surf-Mexico.com. Reciprocal links will be checked periodically for validity. If a reciprocal link is not found back to our site, your link will be removed from the Reciprocal category and returned to regular link status at the end of our link direcory.

Steps in submitting a reciprocal link for a MEXICO RELATED website:

Submit your link to the Mexico Guide using our online directory submission form. Be sure to choose the most relevant category for your link and to provide the URL of the page where our link resides on your site.

Steps for submitting a reciprocal link for a NON-MEXICO RELATED website:

Submit your link to our International Link Exchange directory using our online link exchange submission form. Be sure to choose the most relevant category for your link and to provide the URL of the page where our link resides on your site.

Submitter guarantees that any material submitted for publication, or site submitted for linkage from our site, does not contain anything leading to an abusive or unethical use of the hosting service or host server. Abusive and unethical materials and uses include, but are not limited to, pornography, obscenity, nudity, violations of privacy, computer viruses, and harassing and harmful material or uses, any illegal activity, or material advocating illegal activity, and any infringement of privacy or libel. Surf-Mexico.com/Zihrena Systems reserves the right to refuse links leading to sites containing any such materials, and/or remove them at any time should it be discovered that such material or site be in infringement of this policy.

Links are accepted at the sole discretion of the Surf-Mexico.com Webmaster.
Only links leading to sites which deal directly with Mexican themes, travel, culture, surfing, etc., or compatible subjects will be considered for the Mexico Guide.
No links will be accepted to sites which display or promote illegal or questionable material or activities.
No adult or ad-placer sites are permitted.
Surf-Mexico reserves the right to modify link title, description and category placement in the directory if it is deemed necessary for better integration into the directory, or to remove regular and non-reciprocated links at any time.
Reciprocal and Regular links may appear in only one category at the discretion of Surf-Mexico.com. As a general rule, Reciprocal and Regular links will be placed in the appropriate Regional Information section when dealing with websites that provide information and services in a particular state or city of Mexico.
