Michoacan

The state of Michoacan, Mexico, is located on the central Pacific coast of the country. It is bounded by the Pacific Ocean to the south-wast. To the north-west lie the states of Colima and Jalisco, to the north Guanajuato and Queretaro, to the east the state of Mexico and to the south-east the state of Guerrero.

Main destinations in Michoacan are Morelia, Patzcuaro, Paracho, Uruapan, Zamora, Angangeo and the Monarch butterfly sanctuaries, Zitacuaro, Lazaro Cardenas and Playa Azul.
