Sportfishing Mexico
Sport fishing is one of Mexico's prime recreational activities. Regular catches include marlin, sailfish, mahi-mahi (dorado), yellowfin tuna, roosterfish and bass. Some of the best deep-sea fishing destinations include Los Cabos and La Paz, Mazatlan, Manzanillo, Ixtapa Zihuatanejo and Huatulco. The Tampico and Lake Vicente Guerrero areas of north-eastern Mexico are well-known for their big-mouthed bass.
