Jalisco
The state of Jalisco is located in Pacific central Mexico. It is bordered to the west by the Pacific ocean and to the north by Nayarit, Zacatecas and Aguascalientes. The state of Guanajuato lies to it's east while Colima and Michoacan border it to the south and south-east.
Main destinations in Jalisco: Greater Guadalajara (including Tlaquepaque, Tonala, Zapopan), Banderas Bay (Puerto Vallarta, Yelapa), La Costa Alegre (Barra de Navidad, Tenacatita, Costa Careyes) Lake Chapala/Ajijic, Tequila, San Juan de los Lagos.
