Immigration matters in Mexico are governed by the Instituto Nacional de Migracion (Natoinal Immigration Institute). Visitors from most countries need only carry a valid passport and apply for a Tourist Card or FM1. People conducting business in Mexico, or residing in the country either in an immigrant or non-immigrant status, usually require a business, work or resident''s visa.
Customs matters are governed in Mexico by Aduana de Mexico (Mexican Customs).
