XXII INTERNATIONAL SURF CONTEST
IN HONOR OF EVENCIO GARCIA BIBIANO, Acapulco Gro., Mexico

MEXICO COMMEMORATES EVENCIO GARCIA BIBIANO
Mexican surfer Oscar Moncada was the champion of the open category in this years' Evencio Garcia Bibiano International Surf Contest that was held on Playa Bonfil in the port of Acapulco, Guerrero, an event organized by the the Guerrero State Surfing Association AC. and the FZ10 Club.
More than 120 competitors were present, hailing from Costa Rica, Uruguay, USA and Mexico, competing in waves that were small but well formed.
The event included other activities such as beach soccer and volleyball, a Tae Kuan Do exhibition, skateboard exhibition, DJ presentations out of Mexico City, and a light and sound show.
